A strain for the two of you
Sharing cannabis with a partner is a different experience than consuming alone. The dosing logic changes. The strain choice matters more. The pace of the evening shifts. This is a small guide for couples planning to share a session in Pattaya.
The tolerance question
If both partners have similar cannabis tolerance, a single pre-roll shared between you is roughly half a dose for each, which is usually appropriate for an evening session.
If tolerance differs significantly, dose to the lower tolerance. The higher-tolerance partner can supplement with a second smaller dose if needed; the lower-tolerance partner cannot easily reverse an overshoot.
What to order
Wedding Cake. Sweet flavor, balanced hybrid effect, lasts the right amount of time for an evening date. The most-ordered couples strain at our lounge.
Gelato. Similar profile, slightly more upbeat. Good for couples planning to be active later in the evening.
Mac #1. The safest choice if you are uncertain about your partner's preferences. The balanced effect rarely disappoints either partner.
What to avoid for shared sessions
Heavy indicas. Both partners ending the evening on the couch is fine; both partners ending the evening too sedated to communicate is less fine. Save indicas for after-the-date.
Strong sativas if either partner is anxiety-prone. A racing high in one partner that the other doesn't share creates an asymmetry that strains the evening.
How to plan the night
If you are using our Wongamat lounge: start with a shared pre-roll at 19:00. Spend the first hour at the pool table or on the couch. By 20:30 the peak has settled. This is the right window to leave for dinner if dinner is planned, or to stay for a second hour if you are extending the lounge time.
If you are taking cannabis to a private space: a hotel room, condo, etc. Plan the activities before you start, not during the peak. Music, food, conversation — set the room up first.
If one partner is new to cannabis: dose conservatively for them. Their first experience matters more than the immediate evening, because a bad first experience can foreclose future shared sessions for years.
The quiet point
Cannabis is a tool for an evening; it is not the evening. The best shared sessions are the ones where the cannabis enhances something the couple was already doing — conversation, intimacy, a movie they both wanted to watch. The worst shared sessions are the ones where the cannabis was the plan and the couple had nothing else to fall back on. Plan the night first, then choose the strain.
