When sleep is the point
Most cannabis is purchased for an experience. Some cannabis is purchased to end the experience and let the day finally close. Night Move is in the second category.
Night Move is a heavy indica that does what heavy indica is named for. It is not a strain we recommend casually. It is the strain we recommend when a guest specifically tells us they have trouble sleeping in Pattaya, that the time zone change is fighting them, or that they want a real wind-down rather than the social-evening relaxation that lighter indicas produce.
The profile
Heavy indica-dominant, around 80/20. Earthy and slightly sweet aroma with no aggressive notes. THC content in the 20–24% range typically. CBD low. The genetics lean toward classical Afghani indica lineage — the same family that produced Granddaddy Purple and Northern Lights. Night Move is in this tradition.
The onset
Within ten minutes you feel the weight settle. This is the indica signature: a physical sensation of the body becoming heavier, more grounded, more inclined toward sitting and then lying down. The head effect is mild and brief; the body effect is dominant and prolonged.
By thirty minutes most users are deep in couch-lock territory. The PS5 becomes too much effort. The pool table looks great but the walk to it feels excessive. Conversations slow down. Some users describe a faint visual softness — edges blurring slightly, lights becoming gentler — that is part of the strain's appeal.
The night
This is the strain that ends a day. Used 60 to 90 minutes before sleep, it produces deep, uninterrupted rest for most users. Travelers fighting time-zone disorientation report Night Move as one of the few interventions that works without prescription medication.
The morning after is usually clean for occasional users. Heavy users — those consuming Night Move multiple nights in a row — report mild morning grogginess. This is consistent with heavy indicas generally and is a feature, not a defect, of the strain category.
Who should not order it
Anyone who wants to remain socially active for the next four hours. Night Move kills evening plans. The strain commits you to the chair.
Anyone driving anywhere within the next twelve hours. The cognitive effects are slower to clear than with lighter strains.
First-time users. Night Move is not a starting strain. The body effect is intense and can be overwhelming for someone unfamiliar with what indica feels like.
Anyone who wants to feel anything specific — creativity, energy, focus. Night Move suppresses all of these. It does one thing.
How to use it well
Buy a half-gram or a single pre-roll. Consume it 60 minutes before you plan to be asleep. Eat a small meal first. Drink water. Make sure your room is set up for sleep before you start.
Do not pair Night Move with alcohol. The combination compounds the sedation in unpredictable ways and increases morning side effects.
Do not consume Night Move and then try to do anything productive. Plan the evening as a wind-down, not as multitasking.
For the nights that need it
Ask staff. Honest recommendation, not the default.
