Edibles — different experience
Edibles work differently than smoking. The effect builds slowly over 60-90 minutes, then lasts 4-6 hours. Powerful, manageable if you respect the dosing.
When edibles make sense
- You don't want to smoke — lung-friendly
- Long evening planned — sustained effect
- Sleep aid — most indica edibles hit hard 2-3 hours in
- Discreet consumption — looks like a regular cookie
- Group sharing where some don't smoke
What we typically carry
Cookies: 10mg THC per piece · choose chocolate chip, oatmeal, or seasonal flavors
Gummies: 5–10mg THC per gummy · multiple flavors per pack
Brownies: 15–25mg THC per piece · richer, more sedating
Premium chocolate bars: 50–100mg total · divided into 10mg squares
Dosing — read this carefully
First-time edibles user: start with 5mg. Wait 90 minutes. Don't redose. Most "I had a bad time on edibles" stories are someone taking another piece after 30 minutes because they thought it wasn't working.
Experienced cannabis smoker but new to edibles: 10mg max for your first edible session. Smoking and eating cannabis are different experiences — your tolerance doesn't transfer directly.
Experienced edibles user: you know your threshold.
If you take too much
- You can't die from a cannabis edible. Worst case: extremely uncomfortable 4-8 hours.
- Lie down. Drink water. Eat something sweet (banana, juice, candy)
- Wait it out. It will pass.
- If extremely anxious, ask a friend to sit with you
- Don't go to a hospital — they can't do anything different than this
Edibles vs smoking
Smoking effect: hits in 5-15 minutes · peaks at 30 min · lasts 2-3 hours
Edible effect: hits in 60-90 minutes · peaks at 2-3 hours · lasts 4-6+ hours
Plan accordingly. Take an edible at 19:00, you're feeling it by 20:30, you're peaking until midnight, and you'll sleep deeply.
